There are various factors (e.g. engine oil) that can improve engine performance, but at least with regard to air intake there are advantages but no disadvantages. Normally, the change in accelerator response can be felt immediately after installation. Even if you notice no change in the accelerator feeling, the engine combustion is positively affected.
Many factors affect fuel consumption, such as traffic, weather and vehicle maintenance.
It is not always guaranteed to improve your fuel economy.
